Our History
LCIF Chairperson Joe Preston, who served as International President of Lions Clubs International from 2014 to 2015, launched Global E-Trading for Charity in Taiwan on February 22, 2016 at the First Lions Golf World Tournament, whose theme is for Lions to help each other to grow their business for charity. Base on this initiative, International Lions University was founded for Lions, their family members, colleagues, and friends to receive quality education with a view to enriching their life with optimism, altruism, and knowledge (OAK) for world peace and happiness.
Better Charity Through Deep Education
We support Lions Clubs International Global Causes with deep education for Lions from around the world, in the hope that they will enjoy doing more charity and making more donation to Lions Clubs International Foundation and will also invite more of their colleagues, friends and family members to become Lions.
